A CREATIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDYING AND MAKING ART
Bridge House Art
Welcome to Bridge House Art
a small, independent art school located in the north west Highlands of Scotland.
During these unprecedented months of the Covid -19 pandemic our tutors have responded creatively and have written some excellent online content for you to enjoy from home. We look forward to you joining us on a course soon. Have a look at what we have so far, there are plans for more to come including Live, on-line courses!
If you haven't been following our Lockdown Art Challenges, where have you been? Have a look at our new project July Talk and Task and follow the links for the previous tasks for April, May and June. Enjoy!
Over the last few weeks, many of you have been getting in touch to ask if there was a way to contribute or make a donation towards the work we are doing. We thank those of you that have already generously donated independently; some have likened it to buying us a virtual coffee, some included a cake, others have alluded treating us to dinner! Your comments and feedback have affirmed how important it is for us to safeguard the future of Bridge House Art.
After much consideration we have added a donation button to our website. It is entirely by voluntary contribution and only if you feel inclined to support us. We hope you do as we want to be here for you in the future and above all want to see you in person at Bridge House Art in a safer future. We aim to continue to bring you content regardless of any donation during this uncertain time.
Thank you for supporting
Bridge House Art
July Talk and Task
It has been a pleasure over this lockdown to bring you On this Day, Weekly Word and June Jamboree. We have been overwhelmed with the responses and it has been lovely to witness such a creative community build up over this time. The Bridge House Art team will continue to bring you a weekly project, every Friday and Monday during the month of July. The weekly Talk and Task will be released on this page.
All of our summer 2020 courses are now cancelled.
The programme will be rolled over to Summer 2021 with those booked for 2020 given first priority for booking next year.
Applications are open for the Portfolio Course 2020|2021. We plan to run the portfolio course in October if safe to do so with all the safety measures in place in accordance to government guidelines. We continue to welcome applications and will be conducting interviews via digital uploading and Zoom. Click here for more info.
