Bridge House Art

Welcome to Bridge House Art

a small, independent art school located in the north west Highlands of Scotland.

During these unprecedented months of the Covid -19 pandemic our tutors have responded creatively and have written some excellent online content for you to enjoy from home. Have a look at what on-line courses we have so far, there are plans for more to come including Live, on-line courses. We look forward to you joining us on a course soon!

If you haven't been following our Lockdown Art Challenges, where have you been? Have a look at our free to access projects: r On This Day in April, Weekly Word for May, June Jamboree and July Talk and Task. Enjoy!

Over the last few months, many of you have been getting in touch to ask if there was a way to contribute or make a donation towards the work we are doing. We thank those of you that have already generously donated independently; some have likened it to buying us a virtual coffee, some included a cake, others have alluded treating us to dinner!  Your comments and feedback have affirmed how important it is for us to safeguard the future of Bridge House Art.

After much consideration we have added a donation button to our website. It is entirely by voluntary contribution and only if you feel inclined to support us. We hope you do as we want to be here for you in the future and above all want to see you in person at Bridge House Art in a safer future. We aim to continue to bring you content regardless of any donation during this uncertain time.

Thank you for supporting

Bridge House Art is situated on Old Moss Road. Travelling from the south, just follow the main road (A835) through Ullapool heading north. Old Moss road joins the A835 on the left hand side just before you cross the road bridge over the Ullapool river. Once you have turned left Bridge House Art is on your right hand side. If arriving from the north, as you arrive into Ullapool down the hill, past the industrial estate on your left, there is a right hand turning just after the bridge over the Ullapool river. Turn right onto Old Moss Road and the studios are on your right.

By Car
Ullapool is easy to reach from the south. It is about I hour 15 minutes drive north west of Inverness on the A835. Edinburgh and Glasgow are approximately 5 hours journey by car.
