Tradition and Intuition

Beginning with observation students will work from the landscape exploring the fundamentals of line, tone, shape and colour. As the week develops the emphasis of the course will shift and make a leap towards the use of an intuitive response to colour and format. The course will enable students to develop their drawing through a traditional understanding of form with a combined freedom of using intuitive methods and imagination.
