Journey to Tanera Mor
Residential Course

A residential course on the only inhabited island in the Summer Isles group. This course gives students the opportunity to fully engage with a creative working environment both out in the rugged shoreline and interior of the island. On a clear day from vantage points you can see the hills of Skye, Outer Hebrides and the far north to Sutherland.

The studio, which is a café and post office, offers space to eat meals, create and share the day's activity. No cars, no television, no roads, only you and the elements, the history and beauty of the island that will act as our inspiration. Bill and Jean Wilder are our hosts for the week and will make you comfortable in the three original stone houses. Tanera Mor is only 15 minutes from the mainland by passenger boat and weather permitting, Bill will take us on a short evening trip around the island to enjoy the late summer light. A week of creativity to remember.
