Object and Memory

Discarded objects, large and small touched and fashioned by the human hand hold a memory and history different to that of the natural object. The narrative quality of objects play a major part in many artists work and students will begin by identifying and working from a selection of objects, found within the landscape. From this initial contact we will venture out and make contact with objects in nature and work towards a final painting based on and around the theme of object and memory.
