Many objects found within the landscape inform us of the past present and future of the land. They can be the beginnings of narrative works and as a jumping off point into abstraction.
This course will explore how many artists have used objects as a focus and a presence in their work and to stimulate themes. This course will aim to equip students to find within the landscape objects that hold personal resonance and from this, through both drawing and painting use their inital findings to inform and imbue their own artistic journey.
