Ullapool Harbour with its vast variety of colour, form, surface and texture will be the main focus for this course. By using many experimental methods of drawing and gathering ideas on location both in Ullapool's busy harbour and in more remote locations, each student will learn how to develop inital ideas through extensive exploration of surface textures into final mixed media paintings reflecting this theme.
A digital camera would be helpful for this course, as a means to build a visual journal. A studio camera is avalible for general use
