Drawing into Printmaking

10th & 11th September, 2016
Tutor: Kittie Jones
Course Fee: £150

Fully Booked!

Students on this course will consider how to make a variety of drawings to use as a starting point for working with simple printmaking processes.

Time will be spent exploring expressive drawing techniques working with ink, charcoal and pastel.

These drawings will provide a starting point for experimental printmaking techniques working predominantly with monotype, to create layered prints rich in colour and texture.

All weekend courses run from 9.30am - 4.30pm, Saturday and Sunday. All materials and equipment are supplied, with a simple lunch provided daily. It is important to wear old clothes as art is a messy business. Be prepared and dress for the Highland weather, expect sun and rain, four seasons have been experienced in one day! Outdoor, waterproof clothing is essential.
